The Adventures of Pinocchio

"The Adventures of Pinocchio" is a play in two acts, adapted from the famous original story by Carlo Collodi.

This original adaption of Carlo Collodi's "The Adventures of Pinocchio” will be playing at ARTrageous Studios & Initiative under the direction of Victoria Abrielle Dickson. We invite the audience to join us as we re-tell the classic story of Pinocchio, a puppet who comes to life and learns what living is really about!

In a little town outside of Tuscany, Italy, this play tells the beloved tale of Pinocchio, a boy-sized puppet that is made by a caring toymaker, Geppetto. Knowing of Geppetto's longing for a son, the Blue Fairy brings Pinocchio to life. Pinocchio is told by the Blue Fairy that if he learns to be brave, truthful and unselfish, she will turn him into a real boy. But as we all know, being good isn't always easy, and Pinocchio has to learn (with the help of his conscience, Jiminy) how to navigate a world of temptations. From a marionette theatre, to an island of never-ending fun, to the belly of a whale, Pinocchio will overcome obstacles and learn the true meaning of family, living, and sacrifice.

Captivating children and grown-ups alike, The Adventures of Pinocchio allows us to re-experience child-like wonder, and reminds us of what really matters.

Join us on May 19th or 20th at 7:00 PM. Seating is limited!
